Why I love working with regional businesses

Every small business has its unique challenges, but in regional and rural areas the challenges are often compounded by remoteness. We realise there can be days without power or mobile service, or extreme weather might be bearing down on you. I love and respect regional businesses for all they do!

You are always on your feet and creating solutions to problems before they arise. You are constantly innovating and adapting to ensure the business keeps on ticking even if you are without. Most of the time your customers don't even realise the pressure you are under or that a shipment was late. You are resourceful and innovative, and we salute you!

I think if 2020 taught us anything, it was that small businesses in the bush can get through just about anything. COVID, bushfires, drought. It has all happened and we all kept moving forward.

There is no other place where the Aussie spirit rings truer than in the country. Tight-knit communities that support one another through the thick of it all. We love seeing businesses combine their efforts and collaborate ideas for the success of all those in the town. It is an amazing thing to witness, and one of the things we love most about working with small businesses in the region!

We know so many of you give back regularly to your communities whether with monetary support or donating your time. It often is the small businesses that are the backbones of the incredible little towns we live in.

I am lucky enough to work in some of the most picturesque areas of Australia. Little hidden pockets of absolutely astounding beauty. Thank you to all of our customers that take us from the rich red dirt to thundering skies to expansive paddocks of wheat to pristine beaches. 

While much of my work is done via Zoom it is so incredible to get snippets into the lives and locations of other business owners. Comparing Outback Queensland cattle stations to the way we farm in WA. It is incredible and inspiring where you amazing women are running your businesses from.

So many small businesses are creative beyond measure. They have innovative ideas that I love adapting and implementing alongside them. Turning ideas into strategies and identifying ways to turn them into income producers. Unrestricted by geography and uninfluenced by the city, true unadulterated creativity and ideas are endless with the business owner I get the pleasure of working with. Keep the creativity coming ladies, I love it!
